Amnesty International Student Group The Hague is one of the thirteen Amnesty International Student Groups that can be found across the Netherlands.
The Amnesty Student Groups are student-run organizations, whose goal is to engage students to take action for the promotion of human rights. Amnesty Student Groups give students a unique opportunity to get in touch with the work of Amnesty International. Amnesty International is a growing movement of millions of people around the world, coming together to campaign for change. Amnesty International is active in a wide range of human rights issues
Amnesty International Student Groups organize events, demonstrations, actions, debates among others things. During events, you will often meet human rights defenders and human rights experts from all over the world. You can ask questions and build up your network.
Our work is grounded in the idea that our actions are our future and, therefore, we have a shared responsibility for what goes on in the world. By joining the Amnesty Student Group The Hague, together with other students, you will be empowered to take action to raise awareness about human rights issues that you find important. In this way, you will discover the activist in you!
